The Duke of The Chutes

Welcome to Ranch House Publications -- part of an actual working ranch on the high plains of eastern Colorado.  We run a year round cow-calf operation and do a little writing when we can.  Several years ago we wrote a small book titled, “An Illustrated History of Ranching in the Pikes Peak Region.”  That book is presently out of print having gone through two printings with plans of possibly coming out with a third sometime after the first of the year.  The book we are now offering, “The Duke of the Chutes, the Story of Harry Vold and Sixty Years of Rodeo” has truly been a labor of love.  We worked very closely with Harry to make it as factual and authentic as possible along with using a large number of his collection of photographs to illustrate it for the readers enjoyment.
